The China Pee'd on my Rug Man

Well, this has certainly been an interesting 2 weeks. For all you who didnt know i just spent two weeks in the exceptionally hot Tempe, Arizona at debate camp.

it was actually quite fun i was in a lab of ten people we had one staff and two fellows in charge of us. it was actually quite fun, i learned alot and got alot done. i had some pretty cool people in my lab with me, my two boys from wake forest, zach olson, the girls from westpoint and cal poly slo and then the gonzaga folks.

i know it sounds weird for me to be like "i liked it becasue there was big name people there that i got to hang out with" but thats just true, there were big debaters from harvard, kansas, michigan state, wake forest, and a whole bunch of other schools and it was great getting to hang out with them, i went to a baseball game with the coach at berkeley and all the fellows from harvard and whitman and michigan state and wyoming. it was definitely a fun experience.

okay so there was a tournament and of course im horribly competitive and hate losing. I got a speaker award at the tournament (5th), i got the lab award for hardest worker, and got the award for the top 7th team. i did the math, i illegitmately lost my last round (we were winning hands down and my partner said the word "retarded" in her speech and the other team said that was demonizing and we lost even tho i didnt say anything and apologized for her etc etc whatever) but we would have been 6-2 at that point and would have gotten second place at the tournament. that sucks.

either way, i got drunk that night and ending up getting "myself" hurt, its painful, ill leave it at that

im home now glad to be back in the land of the red man
